Payal was born in Banja Hills, Hyderabad, India, 9 November 1978.Veen was born in Rohatgi and Shashank Rohatgi. Has a brother namedGaurav Rohatgi. She grew up in Ahmedabad. Her education was in school and graduated in engineering Udgam L. Its Faculty of Engineering, Ahmedabad. She participated in Miss India Child (2002) and its influence by joining the entertainment industry.
She gained popularity because of the reality show Big Boss on colors, and also won the Miss Tourism World 2002 in Medellin to South America.
